WE MADE A VERY DIFFICULT DECISION WHEN WE CANCELLED THE GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR 2009.

DUE TO THE ECONOMY AND OUR INABILITY TO GET A TITLE SPONSOR, WE SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS FOR THE FOUNDATION TO SPONSOR THE TOURNAMENT.

WE THINK THAT YOU WOULD AGREE THAT THE FUNDS THAT WE NOW HAVE AND THE FUNDS THAT ARE BEING RAISED BY "MINI-EVENTS" ARE BETTER SPENT ON OUR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

WE CONTINUE TO NEED YOUR SUPPORT SO WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ONE OF OUR OTHER EVENTS.

Our 9th annual charity golf tournament and auction was held on Friday October 3, 2008 at Oakhurst Golf Club in Porter TX.  Inspite of Hurricane Ike slowing everything down, it was a success.  However, unless we get a Title Sponsor for 2009, it may be necessary for us to substitute a different venue for our Fall Event.  Please contact us if you are interested in more information.

                        AND THE WINNERS ARE....

First Place goes to United Community Credit Union, Second Place goes to the team representing the Jared Jamail Memorial, Third Place goes to Mark Sather and team, and the "Most Honest" goes to the New Life Baptist Church team.  Closest to the Pin goes to Kevin Vilaiya with the GSE Lining team.  Longest Drive went to Chris Millett on the United Community Credit Union team (no picture available).
